Dr Feelgood @ Borderline, Friday 19/01/2018 and Saturday 20/01/2018

Dr Feelgood in LondonFormed on Canvey Island in the early 1970s, Dr Feelgood remains one of the most popular live rhythm and blues acts in the world.

Dr Feelgood has enjoyed a string of hit singles around the world, including ‘Milk & Alcohol’, ‘Roxette’, ‘Down at the Doctors’, and ‘She’s a Wind-up’.

The final album to feature singer and bandleader Lee Brilleaux, Down at the Doctors, was recorded live on Canvey at the Feelgood’s own music bar only a couple of months before he died. Lee’s final wish was for Dr Feelgood to carry on. The current line-up is led by drummer Kevin Morris (in the band since 1983) and features Steve Walwyn on lead guitar, Phil Mitchell on bass and charismatic vocalist, Robert Kane.

There will be a different support act each night. Here is the current line-up filmed in 2016:

Dr Feelgood will take to the stage at 8:30 pm each night for one long set.
